Power came back on this afternoon! yay!

So the power went out Sunday afternoon. There was a couple of blue flashes last night of tree branches falling on the power lines. So hopefully the power will come on soon. I came over to my grandma's house to get a shower in. A branch did go through the roof of the shed.

So I didn't do Christmas cards this year, or letter's to family and friends. I am working on something that I will be posting hopefully by Monday. Of something of that effect.

So the other day Alyssa went outside to play in the snow with Kimber and her cousins. And I took some picture's of them playing in the snow from upstairs. Siosi, Alyssa, Eliana on trampoline Alyssa and the girls were trying to throw snowball's at Kimber

So Owen finally had his 4 appointment yesterday, we waited until we switched insurance. So while at the doctor I was getting him ready for him to be weighed he had a blow out so that took some time to clean up before he was weighed. The doctor found out that he has an ear infection, his first. So Owen loves to eat, he rolls over lots, he is starting to like peek a boo, he loves to make noise alot, he loves to grab his feet, and he is a very easy going baby. He is in basically 12 month clothes, and in size 3 diaper's. Here is Owens Stat's: Height: 2' 4" (98%) Weight: 19lb 9 oz (96%) Head: 17.24" (74%) At his 2 month appointment: Head: 40 3/4 cm 70% Height: 24 3/4 in 96% Weight: 15lbs 6.5 oz 99%

Ok so we have had a little fun this morning. So I was getting ready to stick Owen on the couch and prop him and I looked a way for a second and all of a sudden Owen was sliding off the couch. He went head first off the couch. I started getting him calmed down and all of a sudden he threw up on my shoulder, as I was pulling him away from me to look at the damage I got the whole front of me covered. Than I was trying to look him over to see if he was all right. I called my mom to ask her a question and I told her what happened. Than she told me to get Owen ready and she would be over to get Owen and me and take us to the doctor's. She thought that maybe he could have a concussion. Well I guess quite a few of the doctor's offices were closed because of the snow, and I was trying to find the number for the doctor’s office. So while she was on her way she called 911 and she was talking to them when she got here. So than they came and they looked him over, and he didn’t have a concu...

So it snowed Sunday night!

Some good news for everyone to know.... My mom is getting married, she got engaged over Thanksgiving weekend. And We will be signing paper's for the house next week

In sticking with the theme of the most recent holiday, I decided that today's manic monday was going to reflect on who, what, and where we spent Thanksgiving this year. Ok so you all are wondering what we have been up to and how we are doing. So let's start with catch up on how we are doing. First of all we should be closing hopefully really soon on the house. Secondly, I am going to schedule Owens 4 month appointment cause we just got new insurance so I need to find him a new pediatrician & Alyssa also, so I will post how it went at his appointment. Here is Alyssa and Owen before everyone came to visit. To start off, we have the inspection done, the appraisal done, and now we are waiting for the paper's to close on the house. Thanksgiving was an interesting time this year. Bryan, Heather, Ashlynn, Kylie and Peyton came all the way from Wyoming for Thanksgiving. Than Justin, Cami (Justin's Girlfriend), Shawn, Matthew & Ephraim (Strasser cousins) came from Rexburg. So there was a total of about 16 people in this house. Than maybe a day into everyone visiting. everyone in the house started getting the stomach flu. I am very glad tha...

So I have been meaning to put my review of Twilight on here. I have been getting a lot of people asking me what I thought of the movie. Well.... Makeup was a little over done on some of them. The movie's are never as good as the book, which is a bummer. I wish they wouldn't have jumped around so much in the movie. It's a pretty good love story. I wish they stayed a little more to the book. But overall the movie was really good I can't wait until the second movie comes out.

So we have had a miracle. Alyssa on Tuesday went poop in the toilet. I went to Bunco and Cory said that she got a little poop on the floor and he stuck her on the toilet and she finished going poop. The last time she had went poop in the toilet was when I was in the hospital and I could see her starting to push and I stuck her on and she went poop. Well last night she said she had to go poop and I couldn't get up to help her go to the bathroom, that's another story, so she went and knocked on the bathroom door and she told Cory that she needed to go poop. He opened it up and he stuck her on and she went poop. So much easier to clean up! Ok so I was cooking pumpkin Tuesday, I think we did about 10 bags of pumpkin, I thought my muscles were sore from standing there for a long time and being stressed, than I went to Bunco. Well I came back and I started getting the chills and I was really sore. I took something to help with the pain. I couldn't even move, every spot part of me...

So I was thinking about some stuff and I couldn't help but write another entry. So Twilight comes out in 2 days. I am very excited for this movie and I can't wait to go and see it. I was going to go with some girls in the family but since everyone will be here for Thanksgiving we decided to cancel our trip to see the movie. So I guess it was kind of good thing because Cory really wanted to go see the movie with me cause he has read the books. So Owen is basically 4 months old. I can't believe my little boy is growing up. He is such a lovable boy. He loves to have his diaper changed, he's a boy that doesn't like his diaper dirty. He is already in 6-9 months clothes. I can't wait to see how much he weighs at his doctor's appointment.

There is not much to really talk about right now. We are still hanging around. Nothing much has been happening just trying to get the house. Cory has been working alot. Cory said that yesterday him and Joe worked about 15 hours including drive time.

So I decided to change background AGAIN....you all are probably thinking wow she changes her background alot. Well I decided I would like to wait to change the background but I want Christmas music on here longer cause there isn't a whole lot of time to listen to Christmas music. Well are hoping to close the house before Christmas. Than we can start working on it. We need to paint, refinish the floors, window's cupboards, linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom, and maybe some landscaping before we move in. I need to work on one thing and get all the paper work turned in and the inspection is on Tuesday. So I heard Alyssa say some funny random things to Owen while I change his diaper. "Owen stinky" "Owen needs to go potty in the toilet" "Oh No! Owen went potty in his pants" "Owen your suppose to go poop on the potty" I thought I would share those remarks that Alyssa has made I thought they were pretty funny, cause she doesn't go poop in the toilet and she is telling him that he needs to. But the other day she did go poop in the toilet, a little bit. So that is a start.

I can't believe that Halloween is all over with. So yesterday we went over to my mom's work and everyone there loves to see Alyssa and Owen. They were giving Alyssa candy. She was a Fairy. My mom found the dress at a thrift store and the wings that Alyssa wore were the wings that I used when I was young. Owen was Frankenstein. We got the outfit from Aleta. Porter & Owen All the kids

So my cousin got her book published. If you would like to purchase a copy it is for sale at PublishAmerica.com (her publishers site...which is the cheapest!); Barnes and Nobel; and Amazon.com. I did purchase a copy I can't wait for it to come.

So I talked to my mom this morning and she said that she went to the Goodwill Outlet and they had to evacuate the store, because someone donated a motor case for a bomb.

Ok so about the house, well you know I talked about before that we made a offer's on two different house's and the 3 bed 1.5 bath didn't get accepted. Well the 2 bed 1 bath did. So we put an in offer of $116,000 and they came back with $127,000. Than we came back with $120,000 than they countered with $125,000. Our Realtor said to them that was the most that we would spend on that house. So they thought about it for a couple of hour's and called our Realtor back and accepted the offer. It's about 1,000 square feet maybe a little more.

So we finally got an offer accepted. So maybe Monday I can start getting bids for the work that needs to be done.

So after I got done posting a whole bunch of cute pictures. I found that these pictures didn't get put on here. I think by the beginning of next year I want to a photo book. So the bottom picture is of Alyssa in August 2006, I thought it would be cool to post a picture of her to compare to see how similar they look. Well Owen definitely has more hair than she did. They like a lot a like.

So when you get to the middle of the corn maze there is a castle with a slide. But I wish the ladder wasn't less dangerous. So we were trying to get there picture next to the corn stalks Since Kalo was sitting on the grass they all went over there to sit next to her Kenize & Alyssa sitting on some pumpkin's We tried getting some pictures of Alyssa & Owen together in the pumpkin's. I was trying to get Owen to sit up against the pumpkin and Kimber was taking the pictures. Owen is pretty big so I didn't think Alyssa could really hold him while sitting on the pumpkin cause he's pretty big.

So I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to make it to the pumpkin patch. We haven't even actually carved pumpkin's, and Halloween's tomorrow.
