Weight loss

Well I don't really post things like this but, I went to Weight Watchers last night and I weighed in. Since I have started it and I started it right before Halloween, I have lost a total of 5 lbs so far. I haven't been working out like I have wanted. But I am pretty surprised with what I have done so far because of the Holiday season.

Weight loss

Well I have lost some weight. I have been trying to workout lately. I did work out once last week, 30 day shred. I am hoping to get some time in today to workout. I wasn't able to make it in to my weigh in last week, because it was parent-teacher conferences, and I didn't feel like taking 4 kids to weight watchers with me. So this week I will be going to my weigh in.

Thankful Day 13 & 14

Mt Emily Bombsite

Image
So we had heard about this bombing. Since we had a free day we decided to do the hike and see the bombsite.  We have not been to see the sword that was donated to the library yet.     Here is a link about the bombsite: http://www.enjoyportorford.com/japanesebomb.html     The signs were very interesting to read. Might be kind of hard to read in the pictures. I tried to take clear pictures of them. The pictures do get bigger if you click on them.            The kids and I standing by the big redwood tree found on the hike.         Cory and the kids by the redwood tree                             This is where the bomb hit

Parent Teacher Conferences

I took all 4 kids and went to parent teacher conferences. Cory couldn't go, because well he has parent teacher conferences at the middle school, and meetings. Well her teacher's are very nice. Her regular teacher we didn't get to meet offically because I ended up having my c-section a day before the back to school night. So neither one of us had a chance to meet her. And So the report for Alyssa is that she is doing VERY well in school. She loves reading, which when they tested her with words she got 65 words right. The teacher mentioned that the kids in the class got about 30 words. So they felt Alyssa needed more of a challenge and moved her up to a higher reading group. They grade them out of a 6 and she is at a 5. We are very proud of her. She goes to a different classroom for reading group now. For her math she is at a 4 which is at grade level without any help. So parent teacher conference's went well.

Thankful Days 6 & 7

#6- I am thankful that Cory has a job. Especially with the ecomony the way it is. #7- I am thankful that parents are still alive. I could have almost lost them from the motorcycle wreck when I was 12 or 13 years old.
