So Owen is a week old today! I am doing really good. I wasn't in a whole lot of pain. I feel pretty good about the labor experience. I am proud of myself for doing most of two hours without the epidural. There have been a couple of nights where it only got up around 2 and than 6. I hope we can get some more nights like that. It has been weird having two kids. Alyssa is loving Owen lots. She has started going poop on the toilet voluntary. We are really surprised. She has had a few accidents. Cory's birthday is on Sunday. He is doing pretty good.

Well Alyssa came home last night and was excited to see us. She has been really loving Owen. We have been doing pretty good. Just basically hanging around at home. Owen gets up a lot during the night. We are working kind of changing his schedule. Nursing is going pretty good. I am still sore some. But over all we are doing pretty good expect the lack of sleep.

(There are previous entries) So this morning we came home I was going to take a picture of his turtle outfit but, he got pee everywhere. He was circumcised this morning. We were going to come home yesterday but the doctor said it wouldn't be a good idea so I stayed another night. Last night wasn't to good. We are pretty exhausted though. I am pretty sore! So you all are wondering what Owen looks like. Well here is some pictures. He has more hair than Alyssa did when she was born. Us with Dr. Card Cory & Owen

So on Monday I woke up and my water was leaking. I went to the doctor around 10:30 that morning. The doctor did a slide and finalized that it was in fact leaking. So I checked into the hospital. Alyssa went with my mom while I was in labor. She didn't want to leave though. So the doctor broke my water at around 1:30. The contractions started up naturally which I was hoping for, they were about 3-5 minutes apart. I was walking around, did the exercise ball, and also got into the tub. So I did that up until about 6:00. The contractions were on top of each other and I was not getting any rest in between and I didn't think I was going to have energy to push, so I got an epidural. I could still feel the contractions, but I wanted more energy to push. I was trying not to have to get one. At 8:15 I started pushing. He was faced in the wrong direction and the doctor was turning him, which didn't feel good even more. So He was born at 8:44. Cory was really impressed of how I was pu...

Well I am at the hospital right now. Owen was born last night, July 21st at 8:44. He weighed 8 lbs 8 oz, and 21 inches long. He is a very cute baby. I will post more later about labor and stuff, along with pictures. Just thought I would let everyone know that he is out.

So no baby yet!!! I was really hoping by now. We would have had Alyssa by now. I keep having contractions and than they keep going away. I think the only way I am probably going to actually go into labor is being induced. I have an appointment on Tuesday, unless I actually go before than. So today since it was pretty nice outside. Plus we didn't think we would get out and do it after the baby was born, we went and picked blueberries. It was only $1.25 lb for U-Pick blueberries in town. We got Alyssa picking blueberries. So we ended up with 9 lbs of blueberries. There is a place in town with organic blueberries, $2.20 lb. So we got a pretty good deal.

I am kind of getting frustrated. My due date is on Tuesday. I started having contractions this morning around 4:00, 10 minutes a part. Now I am getting them every now and than. I have been taking walks, nothing. I am wondering if I will be over due. I hope not!!!! I very sore and getting tired of waiting. I was definitely sore after having my membrane stripped. So hopefully this weekend!!! I won't probably update until he is out!!

Ok so I just got back from my doctor's appointment and a walk. So I am 3 cm and I had my membranes stripped. So we will see what will happen now.

So Owen has not come out yet. I have my 39 week appointment today. Write more later.

I forgot to mention I did get my haircut. I thought it was kind of short. But I am kind of getting use to it.

So yesterday Alyssa finally went poop in the toilet, for the first time in a long time. Hoping that she actually start going poop in the toilet cause it stinks. But over all she is doing really well with going to the bathroom in her potty chair.

So I finally got Cory to take a picture of me. This pregnancy has gone by fast. I just want to have this baby. The 1st & 2nd trimester's I got pretty nauseated alot, a little bit during the 3rd trimester, not so bad. With Alyssa I had A LOT of heartburn, which I threw up a lot cause of that. I didn't throw up a lot with this one just got nauseated a whole lot more. I have had swollen ankles, basically my right ankle though. So towards the end with Alyssa I was having contractions for about a week than they stopped. Well now have I had basically the same thing happen. I started having contractions last Friday, and up until about 12 am this morning they stopped, they were about 10 minutes a part. So we will probably have this baby hopefully next week. Yesterday I had a check up. When I went in around 35 weeks the doctor checked me and I was 50% thinned. So yesterday I was checked again I am still the same expect for I was 2 1/2 cm. Owen is REALLY low. So hopefully it will go...

So Tuesday July 8th, was my 24th birthday. Daniel came to celebrate with us. So we worked some than we went to the water fountain and they played. We went to the Chinese Buffet place in town. Instead of the original birthday cake tradition. I wanted brownies with cream cheese frosting. I am not to fond of the pictures of me. Just because I feel like I look huge.

So the blog background site isn't working so I will eventually change the background when the site is up and running again.

So I have done a few entries. So here is a little update. I have been having some contractions. I am going to see if they will check me this week at the doctor's. Last week the doctor didn't check me. So I hope she will this week, I am really curious if I have progressed some. I can't believe I only have 16 days til my due date. I can't believe I will be 24 years old this week. I hope to get another pregnancy profile picture taken. Last week we were pretty busy visiting with family. Alyssa had a lot of fun playing with her cousins.

So I finally got the crib set up. Alyssa got really upset that she couldn't sleep in the crib. So at the baby shower we made a blanket for her so she would have something new. Well I was trying to save it for when Owen was born well I we decided to give it to her now well she was so excited about the blanket. Owen will have the same blanket, expect for his is green.

So we went to Cory's parents house and had a bar-b-que. There was also cotton candy, curly fries, elephant ears, and sno cones. There also was a bunch of activities. So on Wednesday we went to the zoo with some family. I remembered to bring my camera so that I could actually get some pictures in. It was pretty hot, but we had a lot of fun. My ankles were pretty swollen from all the walking around. I didn't get a picture of them. So yesterday we went to zoo with some family. I will post some pictures. Cory is still looking for a job. Alyssa is still doing pretty good. She is actually sitting on the toilet in public places now. But I have to figure out how to get her to go poop on the toilet. So lately I have not been sleeping really well, and it doesn't help that Alyssa gets into bed with us. There are some nights where she will stay in her bed all night. But I have been getting up to go to the bathroom and it is hard for me to fall back to sleep. I have nineteen days until my due date. My ankles have been swelling. Mostly my right ankle.

So Cory's sister Vanessa and her family came from Wyoming. Yesterday we went to the beach and went crabbing a little bit and played on the beach and went to the Hatfield Marine Science Center.
