Owen's visit to the ER
So this evening I turned the oven to cooke dinner. As it was pre-heating I was unloading the dishwasher and Cory was talking to me. We had our backs turned for a second and all of a sudden we heard screaming and crying from Owen. Cory quickly shut the oven and picked up Owen and started running cold water. I smelt something burning and Cory said that the smell was some of Owen's skin burning. After a little while we filled a bowl with ice and water. He sat for a while with his hand in the bowl and I noticed that his blisters were getting bigger, so I ended up calling Kasier Permanente to talk to a nurse for some advice. She said that I should take him in to the ER to have his hand looked at. I took him into the ER and Cory stayed home with Alyssa and Evan. It didn't take long to get in which was nice. He is doing good now, I just need to keep watching his burn to make sure it doesn't get it really bad, and that it needs to be wrapped for a couple of days and than band ...
