Ok so we got to doernbecher's at about 9:15. They were suppose to take him back at about 10:50. Which was not the case. I guess the doctor was in surgery with a patient with the same thing as Evan. But they were able to do the other boy's surgery in one, that surgery was 5 hours long. They usually say it could be two surgeries because they actually don't know until they get in the operating room. I am crossing my finger's that it will be one! So we were sitting for about 3 1/2 hours. Evan was pretty frustrated because he isn't able to eat, and all he wanted to do was eat and go back to bed. He finally went to sleep after a lot of pacing the floor and rocking him, My arms were a little sore. So a little after 1:00 the doctor's (there are two doctor's doing the surgery) and the anesthesiologist came out introduced themselves. So about 1:30 they were ready to come and get him.
