While trying to get a picture of Alyssa in her Christmas Dress, Owen decided he wanted his picture taken. Unfortunately he wasn't wearing the sweater that he got. But he's still cute even with the runny nose that he has in this picture.

Alyssa wore this every dress every Sunday before Christmas. Thanks to Rick and my mom for getting her a Christmas dress.

Owen's favorite thing nowadays is pulling stuff out of the cupboards in the kitchen. This was my favorites. He got out the Bosch bowl stuck the attachment in it and was spinning it around.

This year Alyssa and I decorated our Gingerbread house.

Dear Family and Friends, Here is our Christmas Letter. To start off at the beginning of this year we purchased a home , 2 bed 1 bath, I can't remember the square footage at this time. Cory started school in September at Willamette University. He is getting a Master's in teaching, not sure which way in teaching quite yet. He is still working from home. Alyssa turned 3 in April. She know's some of her letter's and is learning how to write. She is working on counting some and learning her number's. Next year she will be a sunbeam. Owen turned 1 in July. He learned to walk at 13 months, or around there, Alyssa helped him. He says mom, dad, bye bye, and he knows how to blow kisses. He likes playing with his sister, and sometimes not. I am a stay at home mom. I have been pretty busy with the kids. I have been trying to read lot's of books. That is all I can really think of now that we have been up to this year.

Pictures will probably be posted after the beginning of the year, but I hope to post sooner than that. We have been busy visiting with Cory's brother's that came to town for Christmas. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Well to start off I went to play group and was running late and I am a little tired. So I thought I stuck my keys in my pocket like I always do and they weren't there when I got to the car to leave, than I went and looked in my bag and they weren't there. Than I finally looked in the car, and there they were in the car. So after some time after trying to see if someone could go get the other set from Cory. I remembered how to get in the car, and I pushed the window down to far. A guess a hide-a- key is something that is going to be on my to do list.

There hasn't been a whole lot going on right now. Our laptop isn't working so I haven't been able to update more often. Well I can't believe the year is almost gone. It sure has went by fast. I think I am ready for Christmas, I can't believe it's next Friday. I did send out my Christmas cards. If someone wanted one let me know. Well I guess I better get going. I will have pictures and more updates I am sure next week.

I got a video of the kids dancing, Alyssa loves dancing, and I finally was able to get some video of Owen dancing.

Here they are the thanksgiving pictures that I have been promising for a while now. Thanksgiving was alot of fun, we spent it with my dad. The kids did pretty well in the car to and from Utah, it took us 13 hours. I always love seeing the mountains when we visit. Well it has been a week and I promised pictures from our trip and updates and stuff well I hope to do that tomorrow. I have been pretty busy since we have been back. Sorry but I need to get some more stuff done than I will post after everything is done.

Well for thanksgiving we are in Utah. I have some pictures to post so I will try to post tomorrow. Black Friday tomorrow time for bed.

I can't believe that Thanksgiving is this coming week. I know I said that wouldn't be updating for a while. But I thought I would post a little something. I have been thinking about thanksgiving and what I am grateful, I was going to do a challenge of what I am grateful for, but I have been pretty busy with organizing and being a mom. But I will post my list of what I am grateful for sometime this week. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful thanksgiving!

Tonight I made a fort for the kids to play in and they loved it, first fort for the kids. It was really hard to get Alyssa to hold still long enough to get some pictures. It was lot's of fun to see the reactions.

This morning while we were getting ready for church. Cory was in the shower, and Owen came into the bathroom and decided to climb in the shower with Cory, but he went head first into the shower. I was out on the garage printing something off, and Alyssa came running out to the garage and said that Owen was hurt and bleeding. We ended up calling the doctor and the nurse said that the urgent care was full so they sent us down to the one near the hospital and the nurse said that if it were here kid she would just put some peroxide on it and it should heal. So we did the peroxide but the cut kept oozing, we have tried something on it but he keeps trying to take it off. In length it's probably a little over a half inch and it's open and a little deep, and he has a bump and bruise. So hopefully it looks good tomorrow and isn't oozing or I am going to schedule an appointment. I am hoping no big scars.

We finally got the door's put on the fireplace, well I guess expect of finishing on the edge stuff. So here are the door's. Cory picked them out, he did pretty good.

Well yesterday Cory and Joe were working on the fireplace and Owen found Joe's goggles and he was trying to put them on. So after a few tries of trying to get them on I got a picture, and now he says's cheese sometimes when I try taking his picture. I know some of the pictures are basically the same thing but I love taking pictures of the kids.

Well it has been a long time coming, we have finally stopped using pull-ups with Alyssa, one factor is it cost's more money especially with having two kids in diapers/pull-up's. I gave up buying them after they were all gone. So Monday night was her last night and last nap in a pull up. Tuesday she woke up dry, Wednesday a very little wet, and last night she was dry. I am very excited about it because of the cost cut.

Well just update a hair, Owen has learned a new word, no but it come's out as na. This morning he came in the kitchen while I was making pancakes, he was roaring at me. Alyssa is excited for Halloween tomorrow, she has been asking to go to Halloween, i have been explaining to hear that we don't go to Halloween it come's to us.

Well I have been doing better about posting on here. There really hasn't been much of a whole lot going on. Cory has class Monday night's and every other Saturday. I had a cold, well I guess it was more of the flu, not the swine flu. Cory ended up with it and he is basically over it, I still have a little bit of congestion, and that is basically what I still have of it. I am thinking Owen is starting to get an ear infection. Alyssa wasn't really effected by the bug, and thinking about it Owen wasn't really either. I think this winter if Owen has lot's of ear infections that they will end up doing the tubes. Alyssa is learning her letter's now, we are working on writing now. But it is going pretty good. Owen says: bye bye, dad, mom, and has started saying Alyssa (somewhat), hi, cheese, he wave's when he says bye bye, he love's blowing kisses, Well that is basically what we have been up to lately, Halloween pictures of the kids in their costumes will be ...
