Ultrasound 2

Image
So when we had the 20 week appointment our baby girl was able to let a us see that she is a girl, but wasn't very cooperative enough to let the ultrasound tech get all the measurement's we needed. But we did find out her thigh bones are on the shorter side and the doctor was concerned last time when he found out about this but when he came in had Cory and I stand up to look at our body types. When the doctor saw that Cory has a longer torso and shorter legs he wasn't to concerned. So basically she will have the same body type as her daddy. But I have to go back in for another ultrasound in July for measurement's. And he said possibly that by that time I could be considered not a high risk pregnancy than. Alyssa is already wanting to name her Lily. And this morning I was told by Owen, "Mom you have a big belly", I told that's because there is a baby in there. So he now is telling everyone there is a baby girl in mom. Our baby girl was str...

An entry.....

Well mentioned in the previous post yep we are moving. I am feeling nervous about this move, because I have to get out of my bubble and meet new people and that can be hard for me to do.  But I am going to start going through things and pack somethings this week. Also this week my baby is going to be 2, I can't believe Evan is going to be 2. Alyssa is graduating Kindergarten on the 12th, and Cory and I will be married 8 years the same day. I can's believe Alyssa is going to be in 1st grade next year. Cory and I went for a couple of days to the coast to celebrate our anniversary. It was a lot of fun. It was very relaxing to spend sometime together with out children, but we did miss them. Thanks to my mom and rick for watching the kids, we really appericate. While at the coast, baby girl was moving lots and Cory was able to feel her move. Tomorrow I am starting 23 weeks. While we were at the coast we hit the outlet stores to get some nice clothes for Cory for his job. O...

A Job!!!!

Well we got a call today from a place he interviewed for on Tuesday. We really didn't say anything because of discouragement with the whole looking for a job. But finally something had to give, right? We are not excited about moving, but it's a job. So the job is in Brooking's, OR. He will be teaching 6th grade math, a regular class and than an advanced class of 6th graders. He starts at the end of August. We are definitely excited, but nervous. I kind of never thought we would live on the coast, but it will be an adventure.

Goals

Yep another post about goals. I have been thinking about a whole bunch of things I want to accomplish. Such as one that keeps coming to mind. I have been thinking of a long term goal, which is saving money to go on a big vacation. I want to go Disneyland! We have decided to start saving money and I was thinking about when Alyssa is 8 or 9. I know it's a little ways a way, but by than all the kids will be old enough. Another is to keep having a good pregnancy.

May 17th 1997

This was suppose to be posted on the 17th. Kind of random memories. When I was 12 my life was changed ALOT!! My parents and I got back from a vacation from Oregon visiting my grandparents the day before. On the night of the accident I went to spend the night with my cousin's at their dad's and step-mom's house. While we were hanging out, we had gotten a phone call saying that my parents were on our friends motorcycle on their way to Logan and a car hit the motorcycle. I remember being told that they were going to be life flighted to Salt Lake. Since the apartment I was at was close to the mountains, we were watching out the window when two life flights came over the mountains from Salt Lake and went to the hospital, and we saw them go back over the mountain. My parents were not wearing helmets. While my mom was on the back of the motorcycle, about the time the car was going to hit the motorcycle my mom was kind of told by a voice that she should put her...

While in Boise we stayed in a hotel that had a swimming pool. It was really fun, I only swam once, but the kids really liked it. Kellen Annie  While we were there I finally got to meet my new niece and nephew. Cory has gotten to see them more because of him going over to Wyoming for interviews. They are pretty cute babies! My niece Eliana Carli Siosi Owen in evan's floatie toy Alyssa & Kenize Evan licking his lips after splashing, the pool has salt water.

Skyping with Elder Strasser

Image
While we were in Idaho, it happened to be Mother's Day weekend. So we got to Skype with Dinger. Cory and I hadn't seen Dan in along time, because when he skyped during Christmas we weren't in Wyoming. He sure has picked up alot of terms used in New Zealand.

Halfway There....

I am 20 weeks, and I am doing so good. I have been feeling really good this pregnancy. I have been feeling baby pretty good. Sometimes she is pretty wiggly. One day while I was sitting on the couch feeling the baby move. I had Alyssa come over and feel the baby. And she felt her sister, she was so excited. Once the baby gets bigger and we can feel her better Alyssa is probably going to have her hand on me trying to feel her sister moving around.

It's a girl!!!

Yep we are having another girl. We are excited, Alyssa especially. She has been wanting a sister for quite sometime. They have pushed my due date back a week. So now I am due October 7th, my mom's birthday. Everything is looking good so far. She was asleep during the ultrasound, and she woke up but was still curled up, she was being a little stuborn. So they weren't able to get all the measurement's they wanted to I have to go back in next month to have another ultrasound. The doctor was concerned about her measurement's. It was measuring that she has a longer torso. He was really concerned until he saw cory and saw that he has a long torso and shorter legs. So the doctor is not to worried about her length now.

Tuesday!!!!

Tuesday is the day!   Alyssa is REALLY hoping for a sister. I think after we find out she will be the third or fourth person that is going to know, besides the person doing the ultrasound. So even after we find out I want to do something special for her I guess depending on what we are having. She has been really having a hard time because of not having a sister. So I HOPE it's a girl.

What a week!!!

Well it has been crazy week for me. From having Cory gone basically all week. To having a visit in the ER for my back, which is feeling some better but is still sore pretty good, along with a bladder infection. Evan is sick, I thought he had an ear infection, but doesn't which is good. And he shared the sickness with my mom. I am so excited my sweetheart is home with us, we have been missing him. And I am so grateful for my little girl helping me while I have been couch bond.

pregnancy update!!!

Well the pregnancy is going good so far. I went on a walk yesterday. I don't think I am ready for the REALLY hot weather yet. So I had a 2nd set of blood work done and the results came back and it said that one of the numbers was on the lower end. So basically It could be a possiblty of having preterm labor or having a baby with a lower birth weight. But from what it sounded like they weren't I guess to concerned but concerned some. So we have rescheduled our ultrasound instead of the 11th to the 8th. We are having an ultrasound done up at the office at St. Vincent's. I am so excited to find out what we are having.

My ER visit

Yep I went to the ER yesterday morning. Monday night I only slept one hour and I when I was rolling over. I think I did something to my back. It hurts from the middle of my back to my upper back. The pain was so much that I was throwing up and I ended up calling the medical advice line for the doctor's office at about 5:30. They were waiting to hear from the on call doctor. It was like an hour before the office actually opened and than they would be able to schedule a time for me to come and see a doctor. I was in so much pain I said I am just going to the ER. My mom and step dad ended up coming and getting me and the kids. The kids went over to my mom's while my mom took me to the ER.  We spent all morning there. I was given some medicine for the nausea and than some pain meds. I also did find out I have a bladder infection. After I was given the pain meds I was out. They would come in and talk to me and basically they ended up talking to my mom because I was dozing off s...

Alyssa's 6th Birthday

Image
I can't believe my little Alyssa is 6 now!!! Time sure has flew by fast. Tonight for dinner we went to Chuckie E Cheese, birthday girl's choice, and we had lots of fun. Does this cake look a little familiar, well I did a cake like this for my final cake in my cake decorating class. It was a a lot of fun to make. The main pink frosting is actually flavored, pink lemonade. I thought it wasn't going to taste that great and it was good. I found it at Winco one day when I was grocery shopping. Alyssa a got an art easel for birthday along with accessories, a barbie toilet and tub for her doll house she got for Christmas from her grandma.

Alyssa's (Friend) Birthday Party

Image
So I planned a Pinkalicious Birthday party. So here are quite a few pictures from her party. We did her friend party on a weekend day because it can be not great with schedules during the week. I can't believe she will be 6 a few days, the 19th. The birthday girl getting ready to pin a cherry on the cupcake. My aunt drew a cupcake and they played pin the cherry on the cupcake. Getting ready to decorate cupcakes. Pinata time Everyone that came to the party! Few pictures of the guests \ I made tissue paper pom pom flowers and hung them with fishing line. They were quite easy to make. I borrowed a few things.
