So Saturday we went to the Harvest thing at Gilbert House. Alyssa got her face painted. A pink nose and whiskers. They had a whole bunch of activities. I got pictures of Alyssa coloring a leaf. I forgot to get Alyssa's leaf. Here's Alyssa in the BIG chair that they have there. I didn't get any pictures of Owen because the only pictures that I would get his of him just sleeping.

So we went to the Gilbert house for wiggle time. They handed out crazy hats for the song they were doing and this is the hat that Alyssa was wearing. She had a lot of fun. The picture didn't turn out to clear. So the girls were swinging and I got a couple pictures of Alyssa. And this is what Owen did most of.

Today I worked on canning applesauce. I would take pictures but my camera is being stupid, the battery latch isn't working properly (it got dropped). That is actually one of the top things on my Christmas list where I can get sound doing videos or a house. So back to the applesauce, I did about 60 pints of applesauce . I was working on applesauce from about 8:30 until 7:00, with clean up and water baths.

A man was walking home alone late one foggy night, when behind him he hears: BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright casket banging its way down the middle of the street toward him. BUMP.. BUMP... BUMP... Terrified, the man begins to run toward his home, the casket bouncing quickly behind him FASTER... FASTER... BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him. However, the casket crashes through his door, with the lid of the casket clapping clappity-BUMP... clappity-BUMP... clappity-BUMP... on his heels, the terrified man runs. Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, the man locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps. With a loud CRASH the casket breaks down the door. Bumping and clapping toward him. The man screams and reaches for something, anything, but all he can find is a bot...

So Owen has been rolling to his side. Well today he rolled from his back to his side and he went on to his stomach than back to his side and his back. He was on the floor just laying there and rolling onto his side I had my video camera out for a little bit trying to see if he would do it again and no luck. I hate when something cool like that happens and I don't have my camera handy in time.

So the rainy days are starting up. I need to get rain boots and an umbrella for Alyssa when she wants to go outside. So I forgot to mention in the last entry that when I was trying to pick up in the room we are staying that there is weight's and I was cleaning around it, and I guess I completely forgot that the arm thing was there and I hit my head pretty hard. Now my head is bruised and it hurts some to wash and brush my hair. I hoping to get applesauce canned today. So on another note, I need suggestions, thoughts, any words of advice. I can't get Alyssa to go poop in the toilet. So when we first started potty training her she was going poop in the toilet, but we couldn't get her to go pee. Than we went to Utah for Christmas and lost all progress. We started potty training her again a couple months after we got back and she would only go pee. Well after Owen was born, and I was still in the hospital, she finally went poop in the toilet at the hospital and that was the las...

So I can't believe Halloween is almost here. Time sure is flying fast! We put in 2 offers, I hope that we hear back soon. I can't really decide which house that I want more. I probably would go for the 3 bedroom house. We finally got another dresser in the room we are staying in, so now I have some more space to put clothes which was a big problem that I am working on slowly. We went to the Gilbert house on Tuesday and we went on Saturday, because they had wiggle time on Tuesday and Saturday was the Harvest thing. I did take pictures I will post those sometime this week. So I posted a list a while back of things that I want to accomplish. Well BYU has online classes that are FREE . They have a Book Of Mormon Class, New Testament, Old Testament, The Doctrine and Covenants, The Living Prophets, and Family Life. Right now I am taking The Book Of Mormon Class to help me with my goal of reading it all the way through. Than eventually I will take the other classes.

So a little update on the house hunting. Cory and I went and looked at three house's tonight. 1st house- has really steep stairs and the kids bedrooms would be upstairs. So we are not making an offer on that house 2nd house- It is 3 bd 1.5 bath, we are making an offer on this house. 3rd house- 2 bd 1 bath, we are also making an offer on this house. The house's that we are making offer's are really nice, I hope one of the offers gets expected. We still haven't heard about the other house, oh well.

We put in an offer on a house and haven't heard back for long time. Than there was a manufactured home that we really liked, but you have to have cash to purchase it, it was something like that. Than the other night we went and looked at another house and we were going to put in an offer on that house the next day, than we found out that there were two offers already on it. One was higher than the asking price. Than last night I found two houses on the internet one of them was a really good deal, 1,743 sq ft 3 bed 2 bath, and we called our Realtor this morning cause I wanted to go look at it and we found out that there was an offer on it for I believe the full price cash, it was brand new on the market, and the other house is an a trashy part of Salem. Every time we find a house we like there is always an offer on it, or you have to have cash to purchase it.

There are several entries that I have done. So a little update, Alyssa cut her thumb on my razor that I have told her not to play with. Well I am glad that I didn't end up having to take her to get stitches.

So when I uploaded pictures onto the computer I found this picture. This picture was taken the morning of when we moved. Actually all four of us basically slept on the futon that night, it was basically miserable. Cory thought it was pretty cute so he asked for the camera and took it.

So Alyssa is still going pee in the toilet. I am still working on the pooping in the toilet. I hope to get it down with her sometime. She loves to try reading to Owen, and he actually starts doing his baby talk to her. It's very cute! She likes to sing Isty Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, & Pop Corn Popping. She is having a problem with warts. I feel really bad cause there spreading and the doctor wouldn't freeze them off.

So Owen really loves to talk. I love the sounds that he makes. He gets really happy. He hates having his diaper dirty. I am trying to get him to do tummy time as much as possible during the day. He has started to love sucking on his hand or arms. I can't believe that he is 2 1/2 months old. He really has a lot of character. He still is a little afraid of Alyssa. He is in size 2 diapers still. He is kind of rolling on his side. He holds his head up pretty well, floppy sometimes.

I really like this hat so I got some pictures of Owen wearing it. He's such a cutie! I know there is a picture of him with the hat not on. This is my favorite picture! I love the smile.

Well I am sick and I am tired of being sick. My throat hurts, I stuff in throat (I know you probably didn't want to know that), and I am coughing which doesn't help with my throat being sore. So we haven't heard anything back about the house that we made an offer on. We looked at one house the other night and the next day there was 2 offers already on it, it was brand new on the market also. The Realtor is keeping tabs on houses for us. So I figured out what Alyssa is going to be for Halloween, she is going to be a fairy. I need to find her wings. Not sure what I will dress Owen as. So I finally found my memory card reader so I can now load pictures onto the computer.

So the new trailer for the Twilight Movie came out. I am very excited about going to see it. So I need to find a babysitter for Alyssa. The movie trailer is on the side. And there is a new movie poster

Well for a little update when I find my memory card reader I have a few pictures. So yesterday was my mom's birthday. We went to dinner with her and her boyfriend Rick (Richard), and my grandma. Well yesterday while I was at my grandma's I left to the store for a few minutes when I left Alyssa was playing with Mr. Potato Head, and I had just fed Owen and laid him on her bed. Well I came back and I heard crying Alyssa was in there and had a pillow over his head, she was pushing the pillow on his face and smiling. So they can no longer be left with anyone together, until he is much holder and can hold his own.
