I have had a couple of people ask me what a yurt looks like. So I found this picture at the Oregon Parks and Recreation website. Measuring 24 feet in diameter, we have deluxe yurts only at Umpqua Lighthouse State Park. Introduced in 2002, these yurts are similiar to their smaller cousins – the rustic yurts. They´re made of a sturdy, wooden lattice covered in canvas; have a skylight; and a locking, wooden door. The similarities end there, because these yurts also have: Beds with mattresses for seven people Bathroom Shower Small kitchen area Refrigerator Microwave TV/VCR Dining table Outdoor picnic table and fire ring You Bring ... Bedding Food Dishes Basically, the usual camping stuff, except for the tent or RV!

So write now I am working on potty training Alyssa. I have her wearing underwear during the day. It is just getting disgusting changing her diaper cause they are so gross. She has figured out how to open the bathroom door. She says a whole bunch of stuff. It is so weird to realize that she is 2 years old. Cory has an interview this week. I have got him reading the twilight series. He seems to be liking it. He has been busy with school, and seems to be doing pretty good. I have been keeping busy with Alyssa. Still getting nauseated. I am going to start making a scrapbook for Alyssa when we have some money so I can develop some pictures. I have a pink album for her. I have a blue one for the baby so I don't get behind with this one. We are still figuring out a name. There is two names we are really liking right now. Alyssa got a denim jacket for her birthday. My mom and my aunt got a couple of denim jackets, one for Alyssa and one for the baby. So Cory finally cornered me and got a couple of pictures of me with my belly. Not to fond of them but I wanted a couple of pictures. At 27 weeks.

Yesterday was Alyssa's 2nd birthday. We went over to my grandma's to visit her and my mom, and had cake and ice cream. She opened the presents from us, my mom and my grandma while we were there. Than we went over to Cory's parents house and did cake and ice cream. Alyssa really loves balloons. So I found a balloon that had Elmo on it. While we were in Newport we all took a trip to the Hatfield Marine Science Center. Alyssa really loved seeing the fish and the touch pool. So while we were in Newport. Cory’s dad brought his boat so that people could go out crabbing. Cory wanted me to go out on the boat in bay. It was a lot of fun. Before I got out on the boat I was nauseated. Well while I was out there I got even more nauseated. I didn’t feed the fish. While we were out there, there was a huge swell. Which I kind of got freaked out about. When we first got out on the boat Alyssa was asleep. She eventually woke up. It was cool to see Alyssa’s reaction to the crabs. She loved them. So on Thursday we went to the coast with some family. So all of us went to Newport and spent the night in yurts. They were pretty nice. They have beds and heating which was nice because it was cold outside, and it might be pretty hard sleeping on the ground being pregnant. It was a lot of fun. The first day we were there we tried going on the beach but it was pretty windy and the kids wanted to play in the sand. So we went behind a hill and it was a whole lot better. I got some pictures of Alyssa playing in the sand. Alyssa playing I actually got a picture of her smiling. It's hard to get a picture of her actually looking at the camera and smiling.
