Last Thursday I headed up to Doernbecher's with all 4 kids. Cory had to work. I survived  the adventure. Friday morning was an appointment with genetics.  Thank you Kimber and David for letting Owen and Alyssa come spend the night, I really appreciate it. I didn't sleep the greatest because I was dealing with Evan and Emma and my mind wouldn't shut off enough to actually get lots of sleep. I kept thinking about what they would say at the appointment. The appointment was talking about a lot of Medical background history.  Evan did have his blood drawn. They were testing his creatine Kinase, and 7 DHC to test for Smith-Lemli Opitz. He is going to have a Renal ultrasound, Also need to follow up with a Urologist for the surgeries that he had when he was younger. And then they wanted to see Evan and Emma in a year.  They aren't going to test Emma, unless there is something abnormal from Evan's tests. We found out last weekend Emma gets a rash when Cinnamon is on her skin. Cory made some oatmeal and it had apples and cinnamon it in. She had the oatmeal all over her face. Her face was all pink after we got the oatmeal off her face gave her some allergy medicine. We put plain cinnamon on a bandaid on her back for a little bit and than took it off her back, after a little bit we took it off and she had pink spot where the cinnamon was.

It's been a little crazy around here. I have been dealing with insurance things and trying to make doctor appointments. Hoping soon we can get the appointment for the genetics doctor that is up at Doernbecher's for both Evan and Emma.  Along with the that trying to get Emma the special afo's for her feet and getting bigger one's for Evan because he is outgrowing his now. Hoping she has them before Christmas. Evan has been doing good he is walking so much better with his afos. He has been progressing lots. Owen has been doing better this year in school. No referrals so far this year. Hoping it stays that way. He is doing very well in Math, lacking in reading. He loves his teacher. Alyssa is doing very well in school this year. She likes her teacher. She has been doing ballet and is loving it. She is going to be doing basketball. Emma has been progressing pretty good. Now  she's got to work on the walking. We were finally able to celebrate Emma's 2nd birthday. We were sick and finally better to celebrate her birthday. And then along with work things to. I think she had a good birthday.  \ Emma's Cupcake, chocolate with blue raspberry lmyoved it when we started singing to her.  She did grab the flame. Even after I told her it was hot.  Playing with her toys after her bath. I slipped in the bathroom when sticking her in the tub (the floor was a little slippery without water), and almost went head first in the tub on top of her. She wasn't hurt, I bruised  both knees.
