The Strasser's

I am finally finished. I did accomplish to do 48 quarts and 1 pint by myself. It feels good to do something this big. I am glad Alyssa was home today to help with the younger kids. My arms feel sore after cutting apples, I used the apple slicer. I borrowed some kitchenaid attachements from someone in the ward. I couldn't find a victrio strainer at any of the stores around here. I asked at one store and they had said they had never heard of it before.    

  I am grateful for Alyssa. She is such a sweet little girl, and a good helper also. I am so glad that we have her.

Went to the middle school tonight and saw Madagascar 3. It was outside in the parking lot. Kind of chilly. Was driving by the school to go return a movie at the movie place and as I was driving I got so far at the school and I heard, "Mrs Strasser, Mrs Strasser, stop the car". So I stopped and it was one of the kids in Cory's class,  He said  "Get mr strasser to come down here to watch the movie".  So we got the kids bundled up when I got back and headed to the school to watch the movie.

Well it's the 1st of November. And I also try to think of things I am grateful, So here I go all the way up to Thanksgiving. I will write thing I am grateful for each day.   #1- I am grateful for my wonderful husband. I love him so much!!! I am so glad that I am married to him.

Well my kitchenaid was broken. We were getting ready to make some cookies, and I had pulled some butter out of the freezer and thawed it some in the microwave and I thought it needed to be thawed somemore and Cory thought it would be fine and it didn't end up being fine. It broke one of the gears. So we were without a kitchenaid for about a week. And we finally got the part just in time for me to borrow someone's kitchenaid attachments to make applesauce. It does make a noise and we can't figure out what it is, but the kitchenaid works and that's all that matters. I am very grateful that Cory was able to get it running again.  

  Playing a game at the trunk or treat   Evan getting ready to go into the church for the trunk or treat.  After the trunk or treat we went around to some houses.  We saw alot of Cory's students while walking around, Alyssa also saw kids from school.         Alyssa was a witch   Owen what a funny kid   Evan was ready for bed when we got home.

  My kitchen is now in crazy mode, I started doing applesauce today. I haven't really done it by myself. So I will see how this will go. I have only done 5 quarts today. I am borrowing the kitchenaid attachments from someone in my ward.   In the process of getting started some. Owen decided to move a box of jars off a chair and broke a whole bunch of jars.

She is pretty cute in this one. I think I have one of Alyssa in a picture with these same purple pj's on.   Got some pictures of Emma today. I have been trying to get a picture of her smiling. Not a whole lot of success, but hopefully with Alyssa's help I can. I have a couple on my phone but I need to get a micro sd card to put them on.   Kind of smiling    

  Cory went fishing yesterday and caught 3 rock fish and only kept two.  

I went in for my weigh last night. I didn't go last week for my weigh in. But for the first two weeks of me being on WW I have lost 2lbs. I really didn't think I did but when I saw the number's on the scale I was really excited. I haven't been keeping track of my points properly and food. But I am hoping this week is better. Especially since my doctor's appointment yesterday I can fully do my workout's.  

I did start WW but it hasn't been going the greatest, I have gotten off track some of keeping track of my points and writing down what I have eaten. But I still have lost some weight. I did some dancing this morning, Just Dance 3, not much of a workout, but I did do something though. I would go running but that doesn't really work because Cory leaves early in the morning and even after school is hectic.  I am hoping starting next week that I can get back into excersing more, zumba and jillan michaels. I want to start measuring my waist, legs, etc. I want to see how many inches I have lost.

  So we had family come visit us this weekend. These two pictures were taken on Friday night before the strasser side came into town. My step dad meeting Emma for the first time. I think he was little nervous holding her.   My mom, rick, my aunt vickie and uncle wayne watched Emma and Evan while Alyssa, Owen and I went to the Halloween carnival at the middle school. Cory was doing a football toss booth at the carnival. I didn't get a picture I was lacking on pictures this trip. Cory was dressed up as a Vampire with crazy hair.

Emma had a doctor's appointment yesterday, she weighed in at 7lbs 3 oz.

  Alyssa got her glasses yesterday.

   Cory heard about a new beach at work that had some tide pools. So we went and checked it out at low tide. There is a starfish we spotted on the underside of the rock. Cory saw a couple more starfish when he went out a little further on the rocks.

Well yesterday our smoke alarms were going crazy again. The owner replaced the upstairs hall and the downstairs one, about month ago. And yesterday they went off 5 times. After the 4th time I went and called the management company and they ended up calling the owner and he came and replaced the batteries in bedroom's. And maybe 15 minutes he was gone they went off again. So this morning he came over before I had to leave and he put in brand new one's. So hopefully that will work. This morning as I was getting ready to load the kids in the car, I couldn't find my keys and I ended up calling the school and had them take a message to Cory to see if he knew where they were. I don't really have a problem with losing my keys and I guess for not driving the car for a couple of days. I went out and played with the car to figure out if maybe one of the doors might be unlocked, I went and tried the back of the van and I made the car alarm go off. Well it's a good thing the...
