Lacking.....

Yep another entry with the title Lacking. Well I was looking at pictures for a project, and I have noticed that I have been a slacker on taking pictures for us. We didn't get a family picture this year and the kids single and all together. So hopefully next year will be better with pictures. :) I use to carry my camera basically everywhere I go and that has not happened.
I just came across a website while I was on pinterest.com that looks like it has some fun ideas. http://inkablinka.com/

Lately

Well some goals haven't been going the way I was hoping.  Especially around thanksgiving. So I am hoping to get back on schedule of losing some weight. I am hoping I can lose some before Christmas and the New Years hits. The Christmas decorations have been up for a couple of days. I will take pictures. I purchased some pretty ornaments last year on clearance. But while we were pulling out the decorations I noticed mouse droppings on the top of one if container's. There was mouse poison up there but they had eaten all of the poison and part of the container. We also couldn't find our tree stand.  So we weren't able to decorate that night, because our tree stand was thrown out last year because it was rusted pretty good and kind of falling apart. So I ended up going to the store for mouse poison and a tree stand. Evan qualifies for PT at easter seals in West Salem and he also qualifies for Willamette ESD (early intervention). He is starting to crawl some now ...

An Evan update....

Today evan had a wellness child appointment he got three shots. He did very well and didn't cry much. Well I was a little late getting him in for his 15 month check up, but here are his stats: Height                                   Weight                                      BMI                               HC 2' 6.25" (0.768 m) (6.11%)   19 lb 9 oz (8.873 kg) (0.51%)   15.03 kg/m2           18.5" (47 cm) (29...

I guess just randomness about us........

Well not much to write about right now. I guess I missed Evan's appointment on Wednesday. I guess it was at 10 and I thought it was at 1, and it is rescheduled until after Thanksgiving. For physical therapy.  But Monday is his evaluation for early intervention. I am kind of interested to see what they will say. Also Alyssa has Parent Teacher conferences on Monday. And I am also excited to hear what her teacher says. Cory is still looking for a teaching job. So if anyone knows of any teaching jobs let us know, it would be greatly appreciated. Tomorrow Cory and I are going on a date I am so excited. We haven't been on many dates for a while.  Especially without Evan. It's just really nice to go somewhere just Cory and I. We are doing Baby wise with Evan and this will be our first child at this age that has slept through the night fully. The older two do now, but none of the kids have really slept through the night before they were a year old. And it actually feels good...

Goals

Well have started some new goals in our house. The first one is we have started the Dave Ramsey system. We are wanting to get rid of debt. I ordered the envelope system and it should be here any day now. Cory has a LOT in school loans. We are hoping to get those gone as fast as possible. The other goal is to lose weight. Well with the remaining days of this week I am hoping to workout each day. I don't really like to mention how much I weigh to everyone. Maybe after I get to my goal weight I will talk about it. But until than probably not. One goal I have added for my self is to not drink any soda for  a week. And the final goal for now. I really want Alyssa to learn how to read. So I am going to work with her more on that.

Stories By Alyssa

One day there was a man and had a brown hat. He was a breadstick. He had no arms or feet. He was hopping around on a plate and he got very tired. He laid down and closed his eyes and went to sleep. Than dad ate him. The End One day there was a hairy scary monster. He scared everyone in the town and all the people were in there houses. The End

My day with my sick Evan

Last night Evan woke up at 10:30 and he felt extremely hot. Cory took his temperature and it was 102. He slept until 7 this morning and his temperature was 101. After about an hour and a half after giving him some Tylenol,  his fever dropped down to 100. I called the advice nurse to see if there was anything else I should be doing for him, and a message was sent to the nurse.  I waited another 4 hours and took his temperature and it was back up to 102. The nurse called back and said since he was a preemie that I should probably bring him in to be looked at.   His temperature was taken at the appointment and it was 97.6  The doctor listened to his chest and was watching his breathing. His breathing was like a puffing breathing. Evan has a small infection in his lungs that was caught early. He had an antibiotic shot and is starting antibiotics today.

Halloween

Image
I can not believe Halloween is over with, and next month is Christmas. Well here is some pictures from Halloween. We finally carved pumpkins yesterday also. After trick or treating last night I was curious how much candy the kids got  between two trunk or treats and trick or treating. I weighed a bag with all the candy and the total was 7 lb 3 oz. Very hard right now to have all this candy in the house while I am really trying to lose weight. Cory's Pumpkin Here is my pumpkin that I carved. Owen took a marker to it afterwards  Owen's pumpkin, Cory helped him Alyssa's pumpkin, she actually drew the face on her pumpkin and Cory carved it for her. Snow White
