It has been crazy around, Everything from softball, to IEP meetings for Evan and Owen for next school year. I can't believe that school is almost over with this year. Alyssa will be in 4th grade, Owen 2nd, and Evan in Kindergarten.  Emma will start Early Intervention in the classroom in the fall also. Emma is walking pretty good with her walker. They are working on getting on Orthopedics approved by insurance, hopefully it will be approved soon. Alyssa is enjoying softball, the team has only lost one game so far this season. She has been improving throughout the season and doing well. Owen is loving math at school, he really likes his teacher. I am hoping he will get a teacher just as great as the teacher he has now. Evan is doing good. He is going to be 5 on Sunday. I am getting excited to make him some cupcakes for his birthday, with bright colors.

Crazy....

It has been crazy around here. I have been busy with doctors appointments, to early intervention appointments, softball. activity days, and things around the house. Now I  have been getting ready for Alyssa's birthday. I can't believe she is going to be 9 on Sunday. I am hoping to get to more posting on here in a couple of days. Stay tuned for some pictures and updates.

Owen and Alyssa losing teeth....

While over spring break Owen lost his two front teeth with in two weeks after he lost one tooth on top.  Alyssa lost a tooth yesterday.

CVI (Cortical Vision Impairment)

We found out on Friday that Evan has CVI, click on this link and read more about Cortical Vision Impairment:   (Cortical Vision Impairment) .

More Testing....

I have gotten a call about something else the geneticist thinks we could test. I have been meaning to sit down and write this down so there was an update. She mentioned whole exome testing. The testing can take up to 15 weeks. So far the testing would just consist of Evan, Cory and I are going to be tested also, they want to have our DNA to look at when they look at Evan's. If anything abnormal comes back they will test Emma. If there is anything that some of the kids could carry to their children they will test Alyssa and Owen.

Evan's Test Results...

I found out the results for Evan's genetic testing. They tested him for  creatine Kinase, and 7 DHC to test for Smith-Lemli Opitz. Both tests came back normal, He doesn't have Smith-Lemli Opitz, and his muscles are fine.  They aren't going to test for anything else right now, unless the geneticist thinks of something before Evan and Emma have to go back in for a yearly appointment.  He still needs to have a renal ultrasound, and a follow up with a  Urologist.
