Well tomorrow is Evan's birthday. I can't believe he is going to be 3 already.     Right after recovery in the NICU   Cory's Ring                

It has been kind of crazy at our house. We are excited school is almost over with. We have almost been here a full year. I have been working on a list of goals that I really want to accomplish. Hoping to get that done before school is out. I have been trying to workout as much as possible. Sometimes I workout when the kids are awake, and Evan crawls all over me when I am doing sit ups. I am trying to get up earlier before he does. I do have more to update about Evan. I am waiting a phone call from his OT so she can talk to us about his sensory evaluation. Next school year Cory is going to be teaching another class besides math. Alyssa has another tooth that is loose. Emma is rolling all over the place, and loves the crinkly stuff just like her brother. Owen and I have been working on the alphabet and number's more to make sure he's got it done before school starts in the fall. Well I guess that's for now, time to get Alyssa from school.

Waiting for the parade.  Here's a Alyssa fishing They had huge tubs in the parking lot and there were a lot of alive fish in them and you could keep them.  Smokey the Bear The kids loved seeing this cars Slug Races Yes they race slugs I thought it was a little odd. So what they do is tilt the bags upright and the kids dropped the slugs in the bag and the person's slug that came out of the bag the fastest won an ice cream cone from Slugs 'n' Stones They even had slugs to rent.

I was working out this morning, well trying to workout. And Evan was standing next to the window sill looking outside at the rain. I had turned my head for a second and than he was on the floor crying. I am thinking he did something when he was walking along the window sill  and fell and knocked his chin on the window sill. The inside of his mouth doesn't look so great. No loose teeth. I  ended up taking him into urgent care because I wasn't sure if he was going to need stitches.  He didn't need stitches, which i am really glad and I am sure he is to. He has to be on antiboctics also so it doesn't get infected. So he will probably have a small scar.  

I have been slacking on the blogging. I guess not a whole lot to blog about, I have thought about things that I have wanted to but haven't yet. So hopefully this weekend I will some things blogged. We have been busy, or tired lately. Cory has been busy with school, and scouts. Alyssa did lose her first tooth. Evan is standing up by himself in the middle of the room without holding onto something. And has been doing it more frequently. Owen is getting excited to start school in the fall. Emma is rolling over like crazy and smiley as ever. Well that is all for now.

Alyssa turned 7 on Friday. We didn't celebrate her birthday until Saturday. Cory had a scout campout. It was hard for her to wait. But she did very good waiting. I let her open Owen's present that he got her, a gumball machine. with two bags of gumballs. She had been asking for one for a couple of months and we found it at the dollar tree.     Here are the cupcakes she took to school to share in her class. no I didn't decorate the cupcakes, they came from fred meyer.   The butterflies I found from the dollar tree, and hung them with fishing line. Here is the cake, I actually did a cake before this one and it didn't work out.     I am really excited how the cupcakes turned out, the butterflies are edible.       She got a sleeping bag from grandpa and grandma strasser . She got some girlie legos from us She got a porcelin doll from some friends and a necklace.   ...

Well Evan is getting glasses. I am hoping this well help him with walking and more of his motor skills. He is farsighted and has astigmatism. His glasses will be here in about 2 weeks. I will post pictures of him when he gets them. He actually looks pretty cute in the one's I choose.

I think the title is used a lot for posts. But for a little update for us. Alyssa is going to be 7 next Friday. I can't believe she is going to be that old, and than next year is her baptism. She is doing very well in school. She is excited for 2nd grade. Owen he starts school in the fall and is very excited. He is a handful at times and is very loving. Evan did a very exciting thing last week. He stood up in the middle of the floor all by himself, he did that twice. It was very exciting!!! He goes up and down the stairs all by his self. Hoping he is walking by his third birthday. He now gets very excited when Cory comes home. Emma is rolling over from her back to her tummy and than from her tummy to her back. She is a very happy girl. Cory he is loving teaching he has been working lots. I think next year is going to be better. For me.....well I have been trying to lose weight.I have a goal of when I want most of the weight off, I am hoping to reach that goal.  Haven...

We came back from our visit with family and doing some work for our business. And there a couple of really nice days, and we made it to the beach with our neighbors.     Evan playing the container we keep the sand toys in.
