It was fairly nice yesterday so we took the kids to the park. (Porter pushing his sister, Owen pushing Evan.)   Look at those cute girls     Alyssa being silly

  So we had family come visit us this weekend. These two pictures were taken on Friday night before the strasser side came into town. My step dad meeting Emma for the first time. I think he was little nervous holding her.   My mom, rick, my aunt vickie and uncle wayne watched Emma and Evan while Alyssa, Owen and I went to the Halloween carnival at the middle school. Cory was doing a football toss booth at the carnival. I didn't get a picture I was lacking on pictures this trip. Cory was dressed up as a Vampire with crazy hair.

Emma had a doctor's appointment yesterday, she weighed in at 7lbs 3 oz.

  Alyssa got her glasses yesterday.

   Cory heard about a new beach at work that had some tide pools. So we went and checked it out at low tide. There is a starfish we spotted on the underside of the rock. Cory saw a couple more starfish when he went out a little further on the rocks.

Well yesterday our smoke alarms were going crazy again. The owner replaced the upstairs hall and the downstairs one, about month ago. And yesterday they went off 5 times. After the 4th time I went and called the management company and they ended up calling the owner and he came and replaced the batteries in bedroom's. And maybe 15 minutes he was gone they went off again. So this morning he came over before I had to leave and he put in brand new one's. So hopefully that will work. This morning as I was getting ready to load the kids in the car, I couldn't find my keys and I ended up calling the school and had them take a message to Cory to see if he knew where they were. I don't really have a problem with losing my keys and I guess for not driving the car for a couple of days. I went out and played with the car to figure out if maybe one of the doors might be unlocked, I went and tried the back of the van and I made the car alarm go off. Well it's a good thing the...

This week has been an interesting one. I think the lack of sleep is catching up with me. So hopefully this weekend I can get a nap in. Alyssa had her first field trip, at a dairy. She is going to have another this month going to a pumpkin patch that someone in the ward has. Cory is on a field trip today, they went to crater lake. I was going to send a camera, but he doesn't really take pictures. Next week is Alyssa's eye appointment.

  Emma had her two week appointment this morning. Both boys came with me to the appointment, and did really well.         Emma's weight has went up which was really exciting.     Birth Weight: 5lbs 5oz Leaving Hospital weight: 5lbs 1oz 1 week appointment: 5lbs 3oz 2 week appointment: 5lbs 10oz trying to take her picture on the beanbag, she kept sinking in.       We have to go back in 2 weeks. The doctor just want's to make sure she is gaining weight because she is small. For these first two week's we have gone through about 75+ diapers, I think that is what I have calculated. She doesn't like her diaper dirty, and in one feeding we can go through 3 diapers. She has been only getting up basically twice during the night, which I am very grateful for, especially since I get up around 6:30 every morning to help get Cory and Alyssa out the door.   Well I have finally taken some pictures of the place we are living in. But these are just the downstairs right now. I still need to figure out how I want to hang pictures in the stairs area. And I will eventually get some of the upstairs. Hopefully this week!         This is our office space

      Wanting to eat   I couldn't just put one picture, because I think she is pretty cute, so I want to share them all that I took this morning. So funny when she goes cross eyed for a second     Well Emma had her one week appointment this morning:   Weight: 5lbs 3oz (When we checked out of the hospital she was 5lbs 1 oz.)   Length: 19 inches  (The nurse couldn't figure out how to really measure, she was a getting a smaller length also so she just went with the 19 inches) She also has some jaundice, but should eventually go away.
