I never posted some goals that I want to accomplish during the year. But one of them I want to do is see how many books that I can read during the year.

Well I received a new book in the mail this Tuesday.  Cory's cousins wife wrote this book. *** I started reading this Wednesday and I finished it last night.***

Well I have finally signed up to take a cake decorating class. I will probably contiue with taking some classes. I really enjoy this, so I wanted to learn more things about decorating cakes.  So here is a picture of my first cake of the class. It is a chocolate cake with strawberry freezer jam, it has some small chunks.   It tasted pretty good! next week cupcakes!

Well since we have been doing the so much money out each week. I have decided to set some money aside for Alyssa to do something she has been wanting to do for sometime. She got signed up to do ballet. She had her first class yesterday. I would have had a picture of her yesterday but my battery was dead so next Saturday I will get a picture of her. I also signed up to do something that I have been wanting to do for quite some time. I signed up for a cake decorating class. I am so excited to do this because I love to do this, espeically when it's one of the kids birthdays. Evan had his frist day in nursery today and he did really well. Owen had his first day in sunbeams and he did well, but he did miss nursery. Cory has been looking for a job. He applied for one and had a interview and didn't get the job. Well that is kind of what we have been up to.

Well Christmas morning we didn't open presents in the morning we waited until the afternoon. We went to church with my dad in the morning. So after sacrament meeting we went  back to my grandparents house because there was a special present for Alyssa there the picture below is what was hidden in my grandpa's bedroom.  A guy my grandpa knows was making some of these houses for his granddaughter's and my grandpa painted them. Well after the 4th house my grandpa asked if he would build another, and the guys built it for free for and my grandpa painted it.  It was in his room for a couple of days with a blanket on it and she wasn't even curious about it at all. She was so excited after she pulled the blanket off. Than afterwards we went to my other uncle and aunts because that's where "Santa" visited. My grandparents didn't have a tree, so we just did everything up there. there and looked through our socks. After looking through our socks I went with Al...

 The kids got new jammies for Christmas. Owen and Evan got  Toy Story, Alyssa got Hello Kitty. Here they are with there cousin.

On Christmas Eve we had a family get together at my uncle's and aunt's house. It was a lot of fun. We played some Apple's to Apple's and had dinner. Alyssa and my uncle are good buddies

Since we weren't going to be there for my dad's birthday, Jan 1st. I decided that we should celebrate his birthday Christmas eve. He was definitely surprised. I didn't make this cake. But it was really yummy! I got it from Macey's and had them write on it for me.

While we were visiting in Utah we made a trip to Hardware Ranch. There wasn't a lot of snow nor a whole lot of elk while we were there. But the kids did like seeing the elk up close. I tried a new dvd this morning. I didn't make it all the way through the 1st level because the kids interupted me. So hopefully tomorrow I can get all the way through it, well probably Monday.
