The Strasser's

He has done extremely well. He caught on really fast after going pee the first time. He loves all the attention he get's after he goes, especially the reward of candy after. No success with poop yet. But he has finally went while in a public restroom. Not a whole lot of accident's! He as been wearing underwear during the day and pull-ups while sleeping.

A new niece was born! Lydia June Strasser Congratulations David & Kimber!! Alyssa loved holding her new little cousin, after a while her arm would get tired than she would have a break. Than after her break she asked to hold her again. While I was holding Lydia, Alyssa asked to look at her feet and hands. She loves to hold babies. 

So for my birthday we went to hometown buffet, because we had  a coupon. Afterwards we went to Philomath rodeo. It was cheaper than going to the St Paul rodeo because they don't charge for 6 and under. Than on Saturday we went over to Cory's parent's house and we swam in the swimming pool and had cake and ice cream. Cory did make my cake.  I am not to happy about this picture! It has been a wonderful day so far potty training Owen. This morning I decided I wasn't going to be putting a pull up on him unless he was taking a nap or to bed.  It has been going great!  So this morning while he was wearing underwear he quickly pulled them down and went pee all by himself.  Than before I went and did a couple of errands I had him use the bathroom and he went pee again. While we were gone he stayed dry the whole time. And after we got back he went  pee again. So three time's in his potty chair and no accident's. I am so excited!!!!!

Cory taught Owen how to blow bubbles in his milk with his cup that has a straw for the handle. 

Owen went once on  his potty chair today, and a few accident's. He does not really like when his underwear get wet.

There have been days where I have put Owen in underwear, with lots of accident's. The other day I had put a clean pull up on him and he went for three hours dry. When I got home I checked his pull-up and he was dry. So I stuck him on the potty chair for 20 minutes he sat and he wouldn't go. I stuck the dry pull-up on him and I left the room for a few minutes and came back and he was hiding under the table, and he went.  But today I decided he just needed to wear it all the time while we are at home, while awake. So finally this morning while eating breakfast he was yelling that he needed to go potty. He went a little bit in his underwear, but he stopped and we stuck him on the potty chair and he wouldn't go. So I stuck some underwear on him, and a few minutes later he was yelling he needed to go potty.   I stuck him back on and  he sat for like 15 minutes and he finally went. Evan has started getting two teeth in on the bottom. He has been scooting a little bit. And he is starting to clap. I was trying to get a video of him clapping tonight and the battery died. So I will try and get him on video. He is eating solids pretty good. I can't wait until he will be able to put food in his mouth. I have been kind of backing off on the nursing even though he technically isn't a year old yet.

 We had hamburger's and S'mores. We kind of taught Alyssa how to play battleship. It was a little bit chilly during the nigh,t and we thought we had enough bedding but we were wrong. At about 1 in the morning Evan decided he wanted his own bed so I ended up going in the house with him and Cory finished up the night with the kids in the tent.

I got a new haircut yesterday, 7 inches off. I will try to get a picture taken and posted either today or tomorrow
