My husband brought me home a rose for Valentine's Day and a card. He is such a wonderful man. I love him LOTS!!!

Valentine's Day

Well it was a pretty good day today. I cleaned the house and spent some time with kids. We gave the kids a stuffed animal, and a thing of sweethearts, Alyssa got a horse with wings and I found a Mickey that had a stuffed heart sewed to it so I took a seam ripper to it and got the heart off, and gave it to Owen. I gave Cory a box of Willy Wonka chocolates and the movie the Grown Ups. Evan got a onesie that says "Prince Charming" on it. I will try to get a picture of him in it. We had the heart shaped pizza for dinner. After Cory's sister came over with her family, and his brother's family, and we had fondue. It was really yummy.  And we also had FHE.

Random Note

Alyssa said to me "I think you should have three more kids".  A while ago she said I need to have one more girl so she can have a sister.

I think I have found something to try with Alyssa, so I can get her to help more. I think that it will work better when Owen is older but I think I might try this with her now and change it a little bit. http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/2011/01/job-balls.html

Yesterday I took the great mama to run errands with me. She offered to buy lunch, So I started asking Alyssa: Me: "Alyssa what would you like for lunch" A: " I want nachos" Me: "Where do you get nachos from?" A: "Taco Bell" Me: "Well how do you get to Taco Bell" A: "Your the adult you know how to get there" Me: "Oh Ok" :)
Oh what a week it has so far, I am hoping the rest of the week is better.

Valentine's Gifts

To celebrate Valentine's Day I think I am going to make this for the kids and Cory. I have been wanting to do something crafty, so I thought I would make something for Valentine's Day, Not sure fully what to put in them but I will come up with something.

a note!

I have been trying to take pictures each day this year, and I have been lacking big time!!!! So I am hoping to get on the bandwagon, I just need to charge the camera than I will be good about it.

2011 List

Here is my list some of it's from my last list, some of these are longer term but I think they will be on the list for a while. There might be more to add later, but here is what I would love to do this year. Roast hot dogs &; Marshamallows r ead the Book Of Mormon consistently- having been working on this and doing pretty well.  Build a BIG sand castle-this is a little hard to accomplish because Owen just like's to smash it.  Lose LOT's of weight-I think my goal is to have the weight off before my anniversary, I would love to have all the weight off and be the weight I was when I got married.  Try to workout as much as possible-Probably not running, but with a workout video. I would love to being running. I actually would love to run a half m arathon .  Eat healthier, try to eat less sugary foods-that is sometimes a little hard to do.  Be more patient Be better organized in the house See The Phantom Of The Opera Go somewhere out of the...
Well I got lots of sleep last night. I feel so much better. Cory has his second day of student teaching today. I guess they had to do today's lesson yesterday, and yesterday's today. I guess some things happened so they ended up switching stuff around. So hopefully with all the sleep I got last night I can get the house clean.
Last night was not the greatest. I think I got about 4 1/2 to maybe 5 hours of sleep. I know I should be in bed. So today was not the greatest, and it was a LONG day. that is all for now!

Alyssa

Alyssa: "It would be boring if everyone were the same." Cory: "Why do you think it would be boring?" Alyssa: "I don't know, I learned that from my Angelina ballerina movie"
Well it's been like a week since I have lasted blogged I was doing pretty good I think for a little while. I have been working on stuff, I have been trying to declutter the house and get more organized. Which is kind of hard sometimes with kids. We have been working on better schedules for us. I have been getting up early enough that the kids aren't up and I am able to get a workout in, well not this morning I didn't get up early like I should have. So hopefully tomorrow I can get one in. So we drove past the school that Alyssa should be attending in September and there are heavy screens, something like bars basically on the windows, not on all the window's but basically all of them. Not sure if I really want her going to the school. We have been pretty consist reading scripture's, it's the kids scripture story book is what we have been reading. They like it because of the pictures. Cory starts student teaching tomorrow. He will be teaching at local  mid...

Exercising

I have been trying to get up everyday at the same time as Cory. Which this morning I slept in a little longer which was not good because we are trying to stay on the same schedule. But I have been trying to do a different  exercise video each day yesterday I did this video . I knew I was going to be sore today after that. So today I actually used it as a rest day because it even hurts to walk up and down stairs. So I am going to do another one of her video's tomorrow and see how it goes. But if anyone has any suggestions of any workout videos let me know. Sorry for the lack of writing and pictures I hope to do that soon.

Extremely Bad Day and Alot of Rambling......

This was an entry from I believe last Wednesday. So I am on the last little bit of being sick, Like the congestion, and always having to blow my nose. I actually got dressed in real clothes today. So after I get better, I think I will be bleaching and trying to see if I can get rid of the germs. Ok so here is what has happened today. I had to take Evan to the doctor today for his after ER visit.  I didn't have quarter's with me, they have candy machines that sit in the front of the doctor's office, and Owen always wants to get something out of the machine. So after Evan saw the doctor, he had to get one of two of  his testosterone shot's that he needs before the surgery. So I had to check in with the nurse treatment room and also get the prescription  for the testosterone and take it with me to the nurse treatment. Well I had stopped at the little place that they have in their  to get something for the kids to drink and something to snack on while we ...
what a day it has been, Cory finished his big project that he has been working on for days on end. It ended up being a little over 100 page project. He also had a 3 hour class tonight.  I am exhausted I think last night with going to the ER and waking up early because the kids got up early this morning I got around 4 1/2 hours of sleep. I think I am really exhausted and sick. Good night all!!!

My weekend plus Monday........

To start off I kind of started getting sick yesterday. I was trying to get through the kids closet and re-organize which I didn't finish, and my mother is a witness to that. Evan started feeling warm, so he hasn't been wearing his helmet because he has been sick, and he started sounding a little wheezy. At about 8 last night I wanted to give him some Tylenol and wasn't sure how much to give him since he is a preemie.  I was on hold for like 20 minutes waiting for the advice nurse, and she kind of listed to his breathing over the phone, and she could tell that it sounded like he was a little wheezy. She thought since he is a preemie that it would be a good idea to take him to the hospital to have him looked at. I ended up calling Cory and having him come home. I spent basically from 9 til about 1 or so in the ER with Evan. He had a chest x-ray and they listened to his chest and were checking his vitals to make sure he was doing ok. He ended up just having a viral thing wh...

Oh helmet's!

Well I have gotten very frustrated with the helmet today. First off,  I kind of had to start the schedule over with because well you can read it in one of the previous posts. So I am still learning how to really put the helmet on Evan. You think it would be easy not really for a couple of reasons 1) he doesn't hold up his head, so I have to kind of prop him up on my leg 2) he is wiggly 3)because its easier if he is looking at me but that is not always the case 4)and I have to get it centered just right, and that's kind of hard because of reason number 2. So I am hoping I can put his helmet on him easier and better, they said it would take some practice and I have been tempted to just forget about the whole thing but this thing cost a lot of money, and I want his head rounded out. I am hoping that I will get better putting it on him.
