I can't believe summer is basically over with. Time sure has flew! I am excited to get the Halloween Decorations down. I love decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Still no walking from Owen! Working on Alyssa writing letter's Nothing new has been going on. I have been trying to think of what to dress Owen up for Halloween. Well that's all we have been up to.

Yesterday later in the day we went to the state fair. I took a few pictures while we were there. Alyssa got her face painted So when we got to the fair we told Alyssa that she could go on one ride and she wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel, but she didn't meet the height requirement, she was pretty upset. It's been a week since my last post. It's been a longer time of posting with pictures. So hopefully soon I will get some pictures taken and posted. Well I couldn't think of anything to update on just that there hasn't been a whole lot going on with us. Cory started Willamette on Saturday. I think he likes it so far! He has classes Monday night's and one Saturday a month. I have been just trying to keep up on the house. I have been wanting to make a trip to the coast! I have started a workout routine with a friend, and I diet. I am hoping to lose my desired amount of weight soon. Yesterday we started it and today I am feeling some effect from it. Alyssa is learning to write letters. I am hoping that we can accomplish some letter's soon. Hoping to get her out of pull-up's soon. Owen gives kisses more now. He is walking around the furniture more, and standing up in the middle of the room. No steps yet! I am hoping soon, but he is so big so. I having been trying...

So Cory finally heard back from Willamette and guess what he was accepted. He was so worried that he wasn't going to get accepted this year because of being later. We are very excited. He will probably teach High School Math, not quite sure yet.

Well the last few days of been pretty busy. Cory's brother Shawn left for his mission yesterday early morning, he was called to Tonga. We are excited for Shawn and hope he does very well while he is there. Some other things that have been going on: Cory is trying to get into Willamette University to get a Master's in teaching. He is still doing the books. Yesterday I canned Peach jam, than a a day or so before that we canned peaches. Also yesterday I was getting the kids in the car and I am not sure how it happened but the door got me in the mouth and I bite my lip and it's a little swollen and black and blue. Than this morning we were getting ready for playgroup, I went out to the car to put some things in it and I came back in the house and Owen had blood on him. I am thinking that he thought there was something to drink in the cup and got frustrated and broke the cup on the floor, I counted the cuts and there are about 4 little slices on his fingers. I tried to get this posted sooner, just have been backed up on othere things. Cory's birthday was on August 3rd. For dinner we went to hometown buffet, only because he got a buy one get one free on a buffet for his birthday. I made him a chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. After we got back from dinner family and friend's came over for cake and ice cream. I actually did put 27 candles on the cake!

So I have time to actually post Owen's appointment. He has lowered on the percentile. I was worried that he would still be in the 90% for his weight. He is a big boy still though. He has started saying mom, he is standing up by himself in the middle of the room (it's really hard to get a picture of him standing), he says dad, and he has said "no" a couple of times. Well after many days of the washer leaking, and getting stuck on certain cycles. This morning the washer had it. I was washing Cory's shoes, because he managed to end up with poison oak and I didn't want him spreading it anymore with his only pair of shoes. I decided to wash his shoes. So the shoes got done washing and I put it on the cycle for just rinsing and to spin and I got it there and it got stuck in the cycle and I went in to turn the knob some and I smelt something burning and I saw smoke coming out of the washer near where you stick in the bleach. And finally the washer had enough. So we went and looked at garage sales to see if we could find a used one and we found one for really cheap barely used.

Nothing much as been going on. It has been really hot. I am really glad that we have AC. It's still kind of warm in the house but if we didn't the AC it would be really miserable. Next week is Cory's birthday, he will be 27. I have been busy with the kids and trying to get some stuff done. So nothing new!

I have done several posts. Not really much to update on Cory and I so. But there are some posts with pictures.

Well Cory is looking into going back to school to become a teacher. He just took the CBEST. He is working from home right now. He hasn't up to a whole a lot, working and he loves playing darts.

I have been pretty busy trying to keep up with the kids and the house. I have been trying to read lots and haven't to manage it a whole lot. I hope to have a long list of books read by the end of summer. I turned 25 on July 8th. I sometimes hate the thought of getting older, but it's part of life. Working on sewing a couple of bags, I will post pictures when I am done with them. I am starting the couponing thing. Well that's all for my update and thoughts!
